How do you log into this game?

Downloaded it from steam, made a square enix account. Tried to log into the square enix account from mog, its telling me my info is wrong.... I go to square enix website and I am able to log in, but when I try to from the launch or mog it tells me that me login information is incorrect? how the hell do you just play the game?

In Steam, click on Play to launch the FFXIV launcher app, it will ask you to setup an account, select "Use a previous account" since you made one already, follow the prompts and then on the mogstation, select "Register Platform", find the Steam one, next add the CD key, you find it by right-clicking on the game in your Library > Show CD keys, copy and paste or type the key in to the mogstation, follow the prompts to then Link the SE and Steam accounts together, after you do, you can login to the launcher, which will then have the ID field greyed out, you will need to imput your password. Don't bother with the second password box, that is for security token users.

I go to mogstation and it asks me to login. I used my SE account information and it just tells me that its wrong. I have the exact username and password I'm using, and it still won't let me in.

If so, are you typing the ID correctly, it needs to be exact, lowercase and uppercase sensitive.

Did you add a Optional "One-time Password" to the account, or just an ID and Password?

Set up the account a long time ago. Not sure for what prob some rpg on steam.


Never got a email or any keys or anything.

Go to mog and try to login and it just keeps telling me my username or password is incorrect.

Bought the game on steam, ran the game.

Asks me to sign up or login, I go to sign up.

It tells me my email is already in use, great.
Go to website and change password to login. Great, can log into SE website now.

Now, go BACK to FF14 in steam, go to login, and it tells me my stuff is wrong.

Okay. Go to mog after googling.

Try to sign into mog, tells me password and username are wrong.

Okay, try to register from Mog, now my email is already in use.

Do I need multiple emails just to play this game? None of this is explained in any capacity.

You did make a mogstation account right mogstation and the SE store are different logins technically
