Need Help! License has expired
I just upgraded from test to full version, now the launcher tells me the license has expired

I don't understand, what do I have to do?

Did you go to mogstation and check if your service account is registered? Once you buy full version it usually comes with 30 days sub time, but gotta register that key code to your mogstation sertive account.

When "license expired", it means no sub running. So go do that. After the free initial 30 days you will have to have your subscription running. From mogstation on the service account section, as said. :)

Usually has also the "Renew subscription" button directly on the mogstation front page also when you login, so easy to follow steps from pressing that when out of sub. It will then go to the page where can select how long sub, then payment option and then done and it's immediately active. Might need to restart your FFXIV launcher/client for it to register tho.

EDIT: I now have the game on my computer twice, once on Steam, once on the Windows version

The Windows version just gave me 30 days of trial time, the standard version I just purchased is still ignored

0 days subscribed means you have not used your key (from Steam library FF14 right click on mouse to see the code to the Starter Edition) to register the Service account, there is a place to put that long key code in, the one with several 1884-8858-5959-5050-5995 type of code. Do that.

Needs to register it so the subscription starts.

I found it after forever searching, now it says MY Steam key has already been registered

I last played the test version in 2018... the Steam account is even older
I just wanted to play Final Fantasy

I would have stayed with WoW...

I just saw that that's the wrong key, that's the PAL key, the one from the test version, I don't even have the one from the standard version

Windows PC and Steam are not compatible.

You can only have one or the other registered to a single SE account, not both.

Above you seem to have bought 30 days of playtime for the Windows PC version, as it doesn't say "Account type: Standard, Steam".

Uhh so test version in 2018? So you bought the Starter Edition when? Did you play it then at all, even for 1 time logged in with full account? If so, it started the 30 days "free time" then, so you are now just out of subscription most likely if that is the case.

Just use the Subscription Renewal section (left on the mogstation front page after logged in) and follow the steps.

And how "forever searching"? All of this is in the 1st page of mogstation easily to be found. :CatStarla:

What do you mean don't have?

And yeah, if your "free trial" was from SE store, then don't try to mix in with Steam account.

SE store version and Steam version is not compatible, so 1st things first is to make sure you have your Starter Edition bought from same source as your free trial account was done for.

And edit: Your FF14 LITERALLY has (and shows) that key on your Steam library. Right click on mouse the game there on library to see. So you can copy paste it from there to mogstation in 5 seconds.

I bought the standard version about 2 hours ago, I could have played it long ago, at least with all the other MMOs

Subscriber renewal doesn't work, the page is empty

In general, the entire German-language website seems to be completely broken, no matter where I click on it, I am randomly "ported" somewhere on the homepage.

I don't have a product key as it says, not in the emails, not in the Mogry station, not in the payment history, not at all

This key for the Steam version is already in use - yes of course, BY ME! and this key is not recognized, but what i2ttoi writes sounds plausible, I'm starting to believe in everything

Next problem, I have a games console in my access history, either it's an error on the page or someone is using my account, the IP address is the same, my last console was the PS2!

I'm now trying out what Itolo, or whatever his name is, said, I'm going to play the 30 day test and then I'll see what happens, either it works, the account is updated to the standard version or I've just been scammed
