Time to get to end game

How long does it take for someone rushing through the story (skipping any and all cutscenes & no sidequests) to get to the endgame content ? When i look online it says a few hundred hours but that sounds crazy to me.

Hundrets of hours if you get sidetracked /and/ not skip story.

Maybe 50+ if you skip everything no sidetracking and insta queues on everthing. The filler quests gonna kill any enjoyment if you grind through it.

I took 8 days to finish Endwalker in rush for an alt this is my personal record but after that I had a huge headache I think that in a comfortable way 2 weeks and it is folded

Why would someone rush thousands of hours to content to get to 4 savage raids that take 8-10 minutes to clear?

I see your point but i'm not at all in japanese games like this one, but friends told me the pve is good so here i am. So far all quests have been delivering mail to every npc on the map...

about 50 bucks USD to skip the story and buy a level 80 class then maybe 40 hours for endwalker

Game started in 2010, they aren't wrong, it will take a very long time even skipping, however, this expansions cycle is almost over anyway, with a new one most likely being unveiled this summer. If I were you I would just play through it all, don't pay attention for REALM REBORN, it's pretty bad, skip that, early heavensward is a little meh too, but pay vague attention. Stormblood is OKAY but you could skip a lot of irrelevant stuff. Shadowbringers and Endwalker are peak however, the build up is worth and a lot of games don't maintain strong consistency like those expansions. Good luck

If you are not interested in the story then you should buy skip story and just rush through the dungeons to level up quickly .

If you are not interested in the story then you should buy skip story and just rush through the dungeons to level up quickly .

Honestly, yea. Just pay the skip fees. Rushing ARR-EW will burn you out. It took me the better part of 600ish hours to get through the entire story. And I would say I played the story fairly aggressively to get completion.

There is no "jump to specific expansion" the level and story skips are to level 80, post SHB at the beginning of endwalker.

I guess you could always NG+ it if you were interested in the story later down the road: https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/New_Game_Plus

The following will be auto completed if you skip, only accessible via alt or New Game Plus:
ARR + Post ARR
HW + Post HW
STB + Post STB
SHB + Post SHB

I think you would still have to do this though:

In order to unlock New Game Plus, you must first complete The Ultimate Weapon, which is a level 50 main scenario quest that involves The Praetorium. Once that is complete, simply speak to Wistful Whitebeard in Western Thanalan (X:12, Y:14) to unlock the feature.
