Can't unlink ffxiv account

I've tried and emailed the support of EU multiple times about it and their response is that we have already solved your issue.
didn't try the live chat yet.
any other ways to unlink account?

log into your mogstation. if your account still says (steam) behind whatever your subscription is, is the account not unlinked. if the (steam) is missing, go into your documents and kill the boot.cfg of final fantasy 14 and make sure onedrive didnt saved it.

if the (steam) is still there in your account status lie´d they to you and you can officially slap them and say "if my account is unlinked, why does it still say (steam) x3.

I have two accounts one of which I don't use and after a long time I forgot which email or ID is main and when I logged in it turns out this isn't the one I actually use.
First, they have a weird system and complicated for some players, I've played many games and logged in in so many different websites and stuff but this one is just weird.
Second, if they have support and they can help through your issue then why they aren't fixing mine?

Now I have the ID/Password of the account that I want to use but I can't log in because I have already linked the wrong account.
And as soon as you log in the first time that's it, you are linked and the only way I know to unlink is via support and of course I've tried to email them many times but no luck of solving my issue.

Live chat is your best bet. The process to unlink your account is kinda of a mess.

Doesn't matter, other games have an unlink tab, this is the only game that makes everything a hassle. welcome back.

I've done that just now and they say that we can't fix your issue via live chat and you will have to wait for a follow-up email from the email team.
Been waiting for days now and this all I can do (=

I finally unlinked the account and logged in with the correct account.

-So basically you have to talk to the e-mail support team and wait for a second "follow-up"
e-mail and that one is the one that you need because when you receive it, it means that they unlinked your account.

-If you waited for like 2 days without anything from them, then talk to the live chat team so they can immediately send you the confirmation e-mail the "follow-up" one, at least this is what happened to me.
waited for 3 to 4 days and nothing.

Just posting this to help people out.

btw, dont do the same mistake again. as far as i know do they this only once per account if they didnt tould you this already.
i dont know why you need 2 accounts either. just pay 1€ or 2$ more for the subscription and you can make liek a ton of chars on any data center. i think the normal subscription without that is just 1 char per datacenter =x.

You are right and they did say that.
Only one time unlink and then you have to buy the game again.
