I have been suspended for a glamour plate yes no joke i thought it was impossible
GM's words "i'm afraid the current appearance of your character has been deemed inappropriate as it resembles a highly controversial figure quite closely" reasons given were disruptive behaviour and inappropriate adventure plate, anyone know if anyone has been suspended because of their glamour plate, i am thinking worlds first right now everyone i know i've told is in disbelief

EDIT: The Support centre got back to me neither them or the game master can elaborate on the decision and that the suspension email is just cause, so yes glamour plates can result in a suspension or ban

i didn't ask for sympathy, also the actual suspension is very thin in terms of use of square enix's own TOS, they literally give you the option for it and its been done to death many times i simply asked if anyone had seen or heard of Peoples glamours resulting in bans

This i've talked about with people already but they're surprised at the glamour plate as it was suspected it was impossible to suspended/banned for glams, i had previous warning unrelated but i was in the same glam the GM had no issue with it before very strange

Honestly it sounds like the rules are more guidelines. If they want to suspend you for any reason, they can and will. Don't give them a reason to. That's why I never talk to random people in game.

So trying to finagle a way around things to dress as Hitler, a guy most of the world agrees was a horrible person.

You can get suspended and banned for anything in this game as long as at least 1 person was offended. The ToS pretty much says that verbatim.

I figured it would be relatively safe to just never talk to another player in chat, but it's probably best to be as bland as possible with the glamours and adventure plates as well. I wonder if there's a feature in this game anyone HASN'T been banned for using.

Yeah never do talk to a players but I suppose my existence caused somebody to meltdown, roegadyn literally have the toothbrush mustache makes me wonder if if you can get banned for that alone in certain scenarios. funny how in the 300 hours I used this glam and nobody pulled me aside, seems the GM warped it around the rules for this scenario. I heard people get warnings/suspensions for emoting at people seems if they want to suspend you they will.

You did something super offensive. How do you not understand that? You should have been suspended for this 300 hours ago if what you said was true.

Read the post I'm asking for people have ever seen or heard people getting suspended for glams, I've asked people and they didn't think it was infringeable, doesn't matter the context of the reason of the suspension I literally don't mind it's only a minor suspension.
