Try to repair the game. Not using Steam, but the launcher itself.
Do you have mods installed?
Let us know what the repair through the launcher brings.
If there are say 2-3 devices hooked up to wireless including the PC, some other device, and then where Steam Deck is being used, the chosen game will freeze up in minutes. Since a mouse often cannot be used on portable devices, the game pad becomes the only real option. I wasn't impressed other than ease of setup. Many people are saying similar things on Google reviews, 3.5 rating.
People tend to go on the internet to complain, so I wouldn't trust reviews too much.
The game doesn't like it if you force it to FLIP mode and use overlays at the same time, resulting in a dx crash message.
I play the game in windowed mode instead of Fullscreen if that is what you mean, no overlays outside what the game provides. I don't think my video card has any default overlays in the program. I am using a Radeon not Geforce.
I am trying a program that auto logs you into your game instead of going through the default login method. Using that I havent had a crash..."yet"
