FINAL FANTASY XIV Online

I want to play GOOD mmorpg WITH BRIGHT FUTURE
I have irl work 2/2, I have things needs to be done, life, friends etc. At the same time I'm young and I want to play MMORPGs with different activities, interesting pve, good pvp, good looking and interesting world.
After watching lots of video, reading threads and comments on reddit I found that ESO/New World/GW2 are types of MMORPG which I'm probably looking for. Also FF14 seems very interesting for me, but I'm already tried it and leveling as dragoon class is SO boring. I know that FF14 is very populated game and I like that as fact, maybe almost like WoW. But subscribtion fee scares me, because I don't want to compensate spent money by doing in game activites every day. GW2 has only 2-4k people in steam, while FF14 has ~30k and ESO ~20k, so I was wondering how is it populated? What game would you recommend?

My suggestion? You work, you have a life and friends already. Avoid an MMO altogether. I would suggest you try Monster Hunter World, I hear its still pretty good, no sub, and you can multiplayer at your own pace. And youd spend less time doing more.

it's not that hard, see:

Guild Wars 2 if you enjoy open world exploration and progress

FFXIV if you enjoy a slow beginning with crazy dance-like combat in the end game, immersive lore with profound meaning, almost like a virtual therapy.

New World if you want to have a glimpse of "modern" combat for MMORPGs. Open exploration, has some issues with end game tho.

ESO if you are a huge fan of elder scrolls and doens't care about paywall everywhere. Limited skills with some options to customize your evolution.

I agree. People criticize ARR, but the fact is that was what hooked a lot of people, maybe not for the story but the gameplay. It's true the story does get way better in HW, but I doubt there are many people out there who struggle for dozens of hours until the game started to look fun to them.

Everyone likes different things. Many people love this game and many others hate this game, if you find it boring then I would suggest you play another game. Video games are supposed to be fun, if you are bored, why waste more time playing right?

Eso has the exact same model as ff14
buy base game
Buy newest expansion
Pay for sub

ESO’s sub hasn’t been mandatory for a long time, it’s now a optional sub that gives some very useful some might say very needed features like crafting bag

Also ESO’s monetisation is a lot more predatory with its loot boxes and many very helpful features sold in the cash shop like mount speed increase inventory increases and many more

no one cares about your life. ( i sit around a play video games all day.. and then? )
this game is 50 hours of reading 5 hours of game play.
quest quest quest alliance
quest quest quest friendship
quest quest alliance
quest quest plan of attack
quest quest attack
repeat
primal primal primal ultima empire end.

Light / Darkness crystals

however you can fish and fishing is cool
not only can you fish you can fish for dragons its called air fishing.
and i think there is lava fishing too.

Ps you cant do 8 + party raids until like 60 - 100+ hours into the game depending how fast you go through the game

you dont get a mount until you join a company or around level 25-30ish
by obtaining chocobo insurance through your company
and your mount doesnt fly until lvl 50+ after you beat a realm reborn
I wrote about life not in order to attract attention, but so that those who know something about the games described above could answer me: will it be possible to play these games and have fun with such a life schedule, while not spending the whole day playing the game . Thanks for the answer

xiv isn't an mmorpg as much as it is a lobby rpg
yeah there are other people you can see but you have no real reason to interact with them most of the time aside from memeing

Because I like to have a character in a game and level it up, because I like the idea that you can gather a lot of people and go kill some huge creature, because I like to dive into universes other than ours. Your question doesn't make as much sense as the question "Why read The Lord of the Rings when you can just read history and news?" Is it a surprise to you that people like to have a virtual alter ego?

I struggled around about 400 hrs in arr and hated the quest in special the msq 50 questline and after this it gets so MUCH Better its almost a new game. Love it now but msq till this point is freaking boring lol.
Btw i still has a life and go to work every day but its still so much fun inside eorzea. Just try it out but give the game some time and just do things you want to do. There is no need to rush trough msq. Just have fun ;)
