I was already a member of a free company throughout my trial by that point, and thought I was communicating with them. lol
The /fc option is one of those essential things that should be a little more (and can be) more accessible though, I think. By example, the menu screen is clutterry, and really needs to be revamped.
Some things you still don't know? You can split the chat box into various windows, even configure what appears in each window... have different colours for each kind of text.
And yes, even change what key(s) does what.
If they made a video of it, it'd be hours long and whatever was past the first 5 minutes would probably be ignored anyway.
I've modified my screen, there was so much I did not need, but for player interaction, syncing the control with hotkeys is a very cool feature...like the emotes: I did not know my character can sit !!
Been playing around with the hotkey panel, and find that the best thing about ffxiv, but there is still some room for improvement with some of the other elements, like the menu bar, and the chat window.
