FFXIV for players in INDONESIA

Is it possible for someone in INDONESIA to install this game and play. I have heard from kaskus community that they have indonesian players in this game but I don't see how they begin the installation for it. Someone explain?

Many people in Asia play on Japanese servers, unfortunately I don't have any more information on this thing. Hope that anyone can answer, if not, you atleast know it's possible. :D

you can play this game through steam
of course with a little trick because region restriction

in Kaskus very few player play this game through steam

The only region-lock/blocking for FFXIV is if you are inside China or outside the PRC trying to play on the China servers.

For the rest of us, play from anywhere and play on any server (NA, EU, JPN... doesn't matter).

There are some restrictions on buying the game via Steam as SE has to comply with various distributors in some regions of the world. Just buy the non-Steam version.

Change your store region to US or EU

You can grab a non Steam version. Play Asia sells both boxed and digital game code from all 3 regions - NA, EU, JP. Does not matter which game region you pick as you can play on any server you want. I play on JP personally because I need great ping when playing NIN.

When signing up, choose which country your account will be. Go for the country that offers the best conversion rates for your currency.

Changing Region store is very dangerous especially using VPN.

cant buy shadowbringer from the store bc region lock
i was able to buy stormblood bc steam mistake
