we all know that cat girls, official name being Miqo'te, have furry ears on top of their head.

So... do they have another pair of ears on the side of their head or simply smooth skin?

a friend of mine saw me playing this game ther other day and saw the cat girls; this was the question he brought up :/

I thought about this myself and I came to the conclusion that they don't have any other ears besides the ears on top of their head.
So yeah... they probably have smooth skin were normally your ears would be.... kinda weird.

I check and yeah, all their hair styles cover where their human ears would be. They only have the neko ears.

Kemonomimi characters normally have only one pair of two ears and a tail regardless if the hair covers the sides or is shorter, and this is how it always should have been, this includes the Miqo'te from Final Fantasy XIV. Kemonomimi are essentialy humans with animal ears and tail. The cases where they also have a second pair of human ears is mostly artistic mistakes and discrepancies. The normal way is for the Kemonomimi to have one pair of animal ears and a tail while essentialy being human and this has always been the normal appearance of Kemonomimi. Inuyasha, Holo, Tomoe, Raphtalia are some of the most popular Kemonomimi and none of them have a second pair of ears even when the hair is not covering the sides in some scenes and it looks completely normal as it always should have been with Kemonomimi.
