E-Sumi-Yan's race

I have not been a FF fan before this game, so didn't know much about FF history/universe.

I mean, he's got horns on his head, and so are the seedseers. Are they from a race that is not mentioned and selectable in the game...? They look hyur to me though, except for the horns

They are a different race from the Five, can't remember the name. Basically they are awakened/enlightened by the Elementals and live far longer than the other race. Hence why Rie Tanaka Kan E-Senna appear young even though she's probably a couple hundred years old.

Still consider that my cat is as old as Flha'min and was already adult when Minfilla was still a brat, age is not an issue in FFXIV.

They are Padjal. I do believe they are unique to FF14 / Hydaelyn (the planet).
Like Big Boom Boom said, they are blessed by the elementals that dwell in the Black Shroud.
They look like kids, but are a lot older.
They also appear to be quite rare. The Elementals are stingy about making Padjal, lol.
You will meet more at the end of the Conjurer questchain and throughout the White Mage questchain.

The ones I remember off the top of my head:
The Elder Seedseer / Leader of Gridania
Conjurer Guild Leader
The two in the WHM questchain.
One had gone to... explore? Or was it a pilgrimage? But he's been dead for a long time.

I am horrible about remembering their names.
