Steam trading cards and achievements.
Does anybody know if there will ever be any Steam trading card and/or achievements for this game?

It already has in-game achievements, many of which net you in-game rewards. That's better than e-peen cards by a long shot.

Well there were Xbox achievements for the previous game... but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I like the wallpapers the cards give though. Wouldn't mind some Steam FF14 wallpapers.

I know about whats in the game. I would just like the Steam stuff as well! Some FF XIV wallpapers would be sick!!!

Because it was ported to Xbox 360 which required you have them. PS2 didn't have that system.

Hmm... if I were SE... I could have you buy a PS3/4 game and get some money from you... or just give away some virtual candy for free.

PS3, PS4, and both Xbox consoles require games to have achieves. Steam does not require games to have them. There's no reason for FFXIV to have them on steam.
