Run dungeons and do your roulettes. And get to raising crafts / gathering. :P

The only real way to make money is to become a crafter/gatherer. I've made 7m from main quests and get-rich-quick schemes, over the course of 800 hours. My friend can make this in a few days.

He just hit 50 and keeps making threads non-stop asking to hold his hand. He can't clear anything without someone telling him how.

And you're in every single one of his posts saying the same thing. You are a bit weird if you ask me :o People are different. Some look up strats on google/guides, others like him like to ask people so he can question something if he doesnt understand it.

It's really easy to make money using the AH in this game if you're willing to spend a bit of time. I've bought and resold items for a massive profit as well as selling gathered materials for a premium.

Quit your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. A newbie is asking for a bit of advice. If you don't want to offer advice, don't click the thread. Simple.

are there any mobs i can kill for money?

i dont like playing eve online in my action based mmos.

Not directly, the amount of money you get from mobs are pitiful. You mainly depend on the 'completion rewards', i.e. completing a dungeon or FATE.

No. Not really.

You "could" farm certain drops but you'll only get 10K an hour while someone else could easily make 400K an hour by crafting.

I flip stuff on the AH, if you watch prices it is easy to do. Crystals and shards are good as the bots flood them at times.

Of course, Koishi is a high tier crafter who often forgets that people don't come out of initial leveling with his crafting gear and levels. So... don't be disheartened by it. He's right in that you'll make a lot more crafting, but to get there you'll need time and bank.

Ixal quests will help you quickly level up a craft to get the others going. I personally think Culinarian is a good starter since everyone can use food, plus most of the mats for it can be farmed off monsters, a lot of them really low level and easy to group kill. Gathering is a good idea since you can either just gather up the mats and sell them or use them to further crafting which will get your more money.

Initially, a good way to build up starting cash is as I said, do your daily roulettes (which all give cash bonuses and monsters in dungeons drop more) and start farming up your gear in the Crystal Tower dungeons, which give an even better cash payout in terms of mob kills.
