Collector's Edition - Worth It?

Depends really. The extra items are nice, and if you're one to want to collect everything, you'll want to buy the CE.

Nothing is needed though. And there's plenty of mounts/minions already in the game.

I think Steam only acts as a store in this case so it has the default launcher. Thanks for the heads up though, I didn't know you could do that.

Collectors edition is not worth it unless you really want mounts. It usually goes on sale for 12 dollars.

If you choose to get the regular version, then, expect to play 20 dollars for an upgrade. And, no you can not use a collector edtion from steam to upgrade. You have to do it the mog station and upgrade route. It's really stupid.

Overall, it's not worth it unless you want the mounts and moggle. I really love the moggle cause it interacts with other's, but it's way too overpriced. The helment is pointless since you can get a feather that gives bonus xp up to 26. THe helment only goes up to 10.

I'd say if you have the money to spend it's nice..you get the stuff in the CE as well as the fat chocobo mount, and wind up moogle, so if mounts and minions are your thing they're pretty nice. I had the money to spend, so to me it was worth it, and there was a time where I was glad to have a second mount, was changing my chocobo mount's color, but again it's up to you.

You can easily get a helm that is better, for having someone refer you, basically you input the code they give you and you get a helm that gives 20% exp boost up to 25, not sure if at 25 it stops or if it stops when you hit 26.
