It's best for everybody if the people who prefer WoW get to play it and it's worth playing. Plus, competition breeds innovation and improvement, so we definitely want it to be successful for that reason.
Yea i always liked WoW lore but Shadowlands was similar to GoT final season. Some really weird writing in there
I believe many will give it a shot, especially if it releases at a time where there is a bit of a content drought in xiv, but i personally don't expect to see a mass exodus, personal feelings aside wow's latest expansions hasn't been too great, and it does not seem this one would change this trend.

That said I doubt I will ever play WoW again. Blizzard is dead to me at this point.
I think most people are expecting it to be bad at this point and they just plan to check in with the game and see what's new...
