Honestly I think the no X clears of current ultimates are fascinating, and genuinely some of the most clever ways to clear content using every available idea, right down to saccing a member.

It's just wild that Casual Andy will see the headline alone and assume, well, it must *just* be easy content.

Well, because it is easy content with three dozen plugins and discord. First thing to understand is that FFXIV is all artificial difficulty and by using these things you're removing most of it.

But yeah, hardest thing in this game will forever be finding 7 other people who are not complete goofballs or perpetually high on a cocktail of mental health meds.

Tanks need changes to make them feel impactful. It doesn't feel impactful when they can just clear the hardest type of content in the game without tanks!

do you seen how much dps tanks can putt out on their burst?
they even keep up with other DPS when they are on their burst aswell.
you top with the paladin confitor combo ANY other dps (for short)
same with the gunbreaker with his lionheart combo ... and you think tanks are not ... impactfull? XD
i mean sure its probably more effective if you have 2 dps which do their job which replace the tanks to make up for the death penalties (aka loosing 25%dps etc.) but saying "tank isnt impactfull" is the weirdest take i´ve hear´d so far.

like its literarly rare seeing a dps beating a paladin in a mob group when he starts with fight or flight and goes directly into the confitor combo. you could argue now with "yea but thats a mob group, not single target" ... even on single target are paladin and gunbreaker extremely strong on burst (gunbreaker can even keep somewhat the high dps until his next lionheart xD) ... tanks not being impactfull ... tsss xD.

btw edit:
i can not say much about warrior and dark knight on lv 100. i havent played both much on lv 100 so, i can not really say how well they do with and after their burst. but, i can imagine that warrior is just a bit weaker burst wise but doesnt needs heal like usual xD.
and dark knights are dependent on the players skill wether they do high dps or not cause on dark knight need ya often to know when to use what etc. very situational tank.

I think that post was being sarcastic.

As far as I know, tanks are the easiest jobs that can solo content made for groups.
