I would probably buy it, I just hope it's not like Xbox's situation where you legit gotta pay two subs just to play FFXIV, I own a Series X and that made me not want to play it on Console, (I know for the longest time that Playstation doesn't make you do that but I barely touch that platform anymore) granted, I primarily play on PC but sometimes I get on Console just cus I wanna be cozy while playing at the same time.

Main hurdle is SE's weird 1st-party account management crap. I personally didn't have any issue linking my Steam and Mog Station, but I hear others struggled with that.

It barely runs on console, already. Switch 2 would need to be very powerful, and I doubt it will be.

Just get a Steam deck and install a Switch emulator on it. You have now a portable PC and a switch. You're welcome.

Yes, because a single unique scenario is totally an issue for a switch 2 where 99% of the people playing on a switch 2 will never even do a S rank, which is easily resolved by doing the same thing the PS4 version does, which is limit how many players get rendered at the same time.

I don't see why a 10 year old game (graphic update considered) would have much trouble being run on a new Nintendo console, if SE is interested in bothering to deal with Nintendo and Nintendo's....being Nintendo, when we're talking about an MMO. I am not entirely sure that would be worth the ROI, but I certainly wouldn't say it couldn't happen. It's plausible enough. I was pretty sure we'd never see it on Xbox, too. I don't even have a hat left to eat.

Nah, This is gonna be the gen where I feel they are about to open the flood gates. No way are they going to allow some bigger online games like CoD, not to hit this system. They even talked about how the new system will probably have a built in mic, along with proximity chat, and we all know Mario Kart bout to be toxic asf.
