Cheating and modding

So I checked out the "Artwork" section here and it's literally full off modded game pics. What did some of you guys say about cheating and modding not being blatant? ICANT

Modding? Eh.. I suppose. Depends on your definition of blatant, really. It is far more common that some people want to admit.
Cheating? Less so. Certainly there are those that do, but far less of the general modding community.

At the end of the day. Who the Hell cares? 99% of modders aren't doing anything that negatively impacts other players directly, and you really have to twist yourself into a pretzel to misconstrue modding as something that negatively impacts other players in an indirect manner.

I'd say 50% of the population cheats and that is being generous.
For the 2nd video it took like 1-2 weeks before they got banned ingame.

A lot of people use it but i don't see a problem with people wanting to look different on their screens unless they try to shove it down my throat... which have sadly happened before. But i always like to see screenshots of their characters on discord because some are really good when other's are really just... over sized tits and naked...
I prefer vanilla, had enough of addons from WoW so personally will never use it and i think FF14s glams,dye and the details are really good.

bleeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh one of those topics again. why do peoples not learning that those which scream the loudest against it ( such like OP ) are mostlikely using them!

hey vlad, how do you even know that those on the screenshots are mods? speaking from your own experience because you use them aswell? or will you come with the excuse and say "no, i looked them up and thats how i know how they look" yea ... suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuureeeeeee!!! >_>.

not to mentition that not every plugin or mod is a "cheat" sure, they are still against the ToS because thats how the ToS is written and cheating mod/plugin or not, you would get banned anyways but still, not all are cheats xD.

There is an easy way to tell when you look at them vs actually playing the game. It's not rocket science.

Anyone who play the game can tell a difference between a character that look " normal" vs a highly modded character with clothes and face details that dont even exist in the game.
Not like it matters but most modders got mare/moon added to their plate and some even got a code added to their loadstone page. Like vlad said, it's not rocket science but in my opinion it dont matter a lot. Most of my friends mod and i'm almost the only basic cat.
But i'm a proud one.
Edit: But you do you. I can just look at my own cat and compared them to anyone on this forum and it's easy to tell.

Dead horse topic but lowkey agree. Art/screenshots has an alarming number of modded content. Maybe I come from a different time where giving my Au Ra bikini bazongas wasn't something to put in front of the world.

C'mon bro, you really don't think this is weird?

Keep in mind I'm not calling for their ban, their arrest, or their execution. I don't hate them. I'm not saying this one screenshot anyone here can find is the straw that broke the camel's back and why Yoshi P needs to ban modding 5ever.

I'm just saying it's *weird.* Do you think it's normal content you'd expect to see on the FFXIV artwork section?
