"this is actually one of the best expansions the games had up to this point, the little dork baby fans are just scared of change"
"scared of change"
People who like this expansion don't know why they like it. They don't know the reasons others don't like it, so they literally just make something up. They don't know whats going on in the game they supposedly like.
At this point, I'm convinced they don't even know where they are or what year they are in, maybe they don't even know their own names.
Infantile design.
The use of phrases like "mental boomed" and "infantile design" suggests they're more interested in appearing edgy or provocative than engaging in a substantive discussion. It's the kind of rhetoric that prioritizes snark over analysis, and it doesn't really add value to the conversation beyond stirring the pot.
Are you high or something?
It's very hard to understand your point.
Where I live, my generation (I'm 40 next year) is much more educated than those of my parents and grand parents.
We had access to university and similar institutions, most of our parents not.`
Everything after us has even more and much easier access to knowledge.
So why do you think people now are much less educated than people from lets say my parents generation, when knowledge is much easier to access?
and no, thankfully i am not american.
*stops sharpening the knive* but I thought you... that it was... but I... gee those damn younglings
MSQ Andys.
By "change" they mean Wuk Lamat and they think the MSQ being terrible is the only reason that people are unhappy with the game at the minute.
I always think about people like you and have a chuckle about these sorta statements every-time I think about things like Viera still note being able to wear hats despite it being years since Shadowbringers was released.
Modders somehow figured it out, SquareEnix just can't seem to do it though. Must be because they are such a small indie team with so little resources....
Yeah, their "Success" was highly dependent on someone else's failure. Also, I don't know how beneficial it is for SquareEnix to continue to be outdone by some random modder who make things for FF14 in their spare time.
The modder discussion is probably the funniest because some dudes in their basements can implement features that SquareEnix needs years to figure out and release, despite their resources.
The game is in an unhealthy state because now that the story is seen as bad, the player-base cannot ignore the other parts of the game that are worse then their competitors. everything from their PVP to the subpar open world design (And everything in-between).
No shiney jangly keys of a story means no "Bread and circus" to distract everyone from the other parts of the game.
