How hide chat? PC

No idea how to hide it and its in the way in cutscenes

Can't hide it during a cutscene if you open it with enter. It'll stay there. Hiding the HUD hides the cutscene text.

Whilst you're in a cutscene, just avoid pressing enter.

For peopling Googling...

Right click on one of the chat tabs, for example, General, and click "Hide Log Window". To get the chat back, just hit the enter key.

This is the correct response.

To add on, on controller, press select till the cursor is over the chat box, but not in text input mode, press the context menu button, I think square is the default, and then hide log window from there.

Back in 2015, when this was posted, it wasn't possible to hide it during cuteness if you opened it. Not sure if that's the case now. Regardless though don't necro threads which are 2 years old.

Don't Hate, You could've simply said it wasn't possible back in 2015. This guy that posted. To a thread, no one really giving an answer in 2015 and is still on google top 10 just like he said, "IF Your GOOGLING" he put a reply in. This was to help your thread out which is top 10 in google. Before hating on the person try googling your thread, you would see a lot of people will be going to your thread for answers. And thanks KmR you could've simply made a new thread but you help this guy out in the thread even though he was salty about it. @Chareback we would be nowhere in this world if we never gave answers to our past to achieve the future. P.S. You weren't even the owner of the thread, the owner said tyvm even though it was 2 years ago but he knows it would help those out in the current and his thread would continue to help people.

You ever used a forum before? If a thread has been dead for months (or years), don't respond in it.

You've just pushed this back to the top.
