Raising your item level?

I'm running through the story missions to get ready for the patch. I'm at the Leviathan(Hard) quest but my item level isn't high enough, and I know I need a item level of 90 to finish all of the quests. Any ideas or tips? Current ilevel is 53.

If you have some extra gold, you could buy a piece or two on the Market Board.

Run a few run in Labyrinth of the Ancients (Access ilvl 50) for drops ilvl 80 and then do Syrcus Tower (Access ilvl 70) drops ilvl 100 gear. You have to unluck them first though by starting the quest: Legacy of Allag (Starting NPC is in Mor Dhona... becomes available after finishing mainquest "The Ultimate Weopon").

True, you can farm LotA and ST and get great gears for you level.
You will get tomestones this way too, and Auriana will be your best friend for months.

Run Duty Roulette: Main Story once a day, save up the Allagan Tomestones of Soldiery you get from that, and then buy i100 gear from Auriana. Oh, and look into getting your relic weapon, it puts you through five different trails and you should make a decent amount of soldiery out of that as well. (Though you'll have to spend a bit to finish the weapon)

Yeah LOTA and ST are good ways to raise ilvl quickly.
