south american servers

I'm brazilian living in the southeastern region of the country and I play every day with +200 ping, sometimes it's unbearable and unfair, mostly because of the AoE hitboxes I'm miles away from the hitbox but I still take the damage, I gave up on doing raids and hard dungeons because of this. When will SE acknowledge this region? I'm surely not the only player out here.

Not gonna happen. There are not enough SA players that would justify a server here.

Funny but years ago people I argued with on this forum said the same thing about OCE servers and behold, SE started OCE servers despite them having a curiously low population of players who have all probably went back to JP judging by the census data.

Wouldn't be surprised if they make SA servers in the future. I mean going by Scarsick's logic it should happen since SA has a larger population than OCE.

There's plugins that help mask latency and deal with mechanics snapshotting. There's also services like pingzapper that help quite a bit to shorten your hops.

I have friends that raid on NA servers from the UK and they manage pretty well in savage using certain plugins. I'm not really sure what the plugin does, but it supposedly helps with latency.

They did acknowledge the SA region, Yoshi P visited Brazil a while back and also mentioned they might eventually make servers for SA.
