you can queue solo in all of those, the game will find you the remaining players btw. You don't need to search other players for groupîng or anything, you can auto queue in a few clicks.
Devs are adding more and more support for NPCs with each patch.
That being said, you can still play as a "solo" player and queue up with random people for the parts of the story where NPCs can't help you.
So, almost all of my 11+ thousand hours playing solo. Don't pay attention to those who rave about how you can't play solo.
The only problem, it will be harder to find a squad in trials, and the hardest content.
After the credits you'll have to do a bunch of 8-man trials throughout the game, which can't be done with AI. Also three 24-man raids.
But anything that you have to do for the main story is generally pretty easy.
Content that has Duty Support gives you two options: Queue with real players or queue with AI group members. Duty Support lets you skip the waiting around for queue to fill since AI members are supplied instantly. I was skeptical when I first tried it, but the AI party members are surprisingly capable.
As mentioned, Duty Support has not yet been made available for all story content. It also doesn't apply to story raids and some other group content. Which is a shame because earlier raids and group content takes forever to find a group for unless you supply your own via Free Company or friends. You can go days trying to fill a queue for stuff like Crystal Tower raids.
If you're waiting days for Crystal Tower, switch shards. It's MSQ mandatory now, so it pops at a very steady pace. At the character login screen, right click on your character. Choose the data center travel option, and go to Primal or Aether if you're NA (not sure for other regions). Log in there, and queue for DF there. Even off peak playing DPS, you should get a pop within 15-20 minutes. Playing a healer, I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes on one of those Data Centers (I don't queue at 3AM, so I can't guarantee that off-peak wee hours it doesn't tank).
The NEW data centers you do basically have to wait eleventy billion years for any queue, which is why until the population gets up, I recommend waiting 5 minutes tops, then hopping to another data center if you have things you need to do. I am a terrible human being and don't even bother trying right now (which I know contributes to the problem), since queue times on Dynamis are SO bad.

I wouldn't suggest it though. It requires a lot of knowledge of the game so it's more like a, I've done everything so let's so this kind of deal.
Anyway Blue mage is almost built for solo play but I'mm be honest I don't suggest it either due its limited status you can not progress the main story with it. (I think?)
MSQ can but that dont really matter
I fail to see the point in making a massively multi-player online role-playing game something that can be almost entirely soloed.
