I don't know, but I'm having the same problem now myself as well.

I'm having some issues inside of PVP. Lots of D/c and random lag spikes. For some reason, I fix'd the issue last night when I opened up the task manager and force closed my web browser (was running in the background). I think maybe I had a memory leak from that or something. *shrug* still fighting/figuring out why there is some lag when playing FF. I think that fixed the issue at the time last night.

I have zero lag spikes always.
My connection is always excellent.
Why?
Desktop PC direct connect internet to the wall.

It isn't fixable on your end the lag is Server Sided you can see it commonly in Raids or Trials but nowhere else. You don't like it? Spam SE till they upgrade servers.

That sucks. Wiping in a raid and only excuse is ''server lagged and freezed''

Wireless internet has come a very long way and it has been some time since using a router was the big problem.

Unless OP is on a 20 dollar router it is unlikely to be the cause of lag.

I have a wired connection, fiber internet, 500mb/s and I still get lag in frontlines fairly often. As the others said, it's on the server side.

Not so much freeze as it is Indicators aren't displaying because the server is lagging thus you can't dodge the AoE from basic mobs. The players aren't lagging its the Mobs.

Actually that sounds more like a PC issue i t occurred to me that for example old sharlayan can get laggy for me when there are a lot of people there and I blame my PC for this.
