Constant disconects

since yesterday at night im being disconnected constantly from this goofy game, i am walking around, then suddenly everyone around me stops and the disconnect symbol apperas to me, so i accept my stupid fate
is there something to do so i can fix this? got to the point which is already being annoying and unplayable

Are you able to log in after the fact?

If not, It's more than likely just more DDOSing and in which case . . No, There's not much you can do about that.

Otherwise, Check your DC you might be on an European one while living in America / Canada / Mexico. By Default it tried to set me on an European one aswell when i first started playing and back then i had no idea wtf DC were so i just rolled with it and regretted the high ping for months.

Latam? Might need to use a VPN until it gets fixed. Something like this happened a few weeks ago, a temporary fix for me was VPN.

well i can log in after this happens, and my dc is Crystal, zalera, people say this is the best one for those who live at SA, so this is not the case i guess

Any free VPN will do, I used Proton VPN on a friends recommendation but there could be other free ones that might suit you better. Change it to US server and try again, if it works and is stable then its very likely a port issue, should go away again after a few days.

I had it as well about 1.5 years ago and since then I'm using a VPN to play the game as Square Enix has absolutely terrible routing to my region. I'm using Mudfish in my case.

ive heard this bug has been for years on ffxiv, they should be ashamed by not fixing it already, now is only playable by vpn or i play w/ unexpected disconnects

It's highly unlikely it's a Square Enix issue. Sounds more like some routing issue between your ISP to Square Enix. Could be any number of routing issues along the way unfortunately, but using a VPN happens to bypass the effected route(s).
