Scholar's Gloves - Quest "In the Image of the Ancients"

So... I went to organize my inventory and ended up throwing away the scholar's glove, I tried to go to Calamity Salvager in the three cities to buy it but I couldn't. I also went to the weaver's guild and spoke to everyone in Ul'dah and I didn't get the glove again. Does anybody know how to solve this? I'm stuck on the quest.

I found this link too, it says to talk to everyone on weavers, I already did that. I've also searched several forums and reddits about it. I didn't find anything, so I came here to ask for help.

I also found this forum where the guy says to use the /isearch command, I tried it and I don't have the item anywhere on my character.

I took a drastic measure and threw away all the scholar's items to try to redo the quest and the weavers guy only gave me the pants.
Now I don't have gloves, pants and hat

I achieved! with the help of a friend, we passed on the mission, to get the lost items just talk to the NPC's listed in the quest, the glove is in Old Gridania.

Only found this in the meantime, it just suggests what you already did. Maybe contacting a GM will work.

If you do contact a GM, make sure to really specify you need help completing the quest, not that you want items back.

There is an unwritten rule that you can ask GM's to give you back one item that you accidentally threw away, but only this once. I never tried it nor can I really confirm it, but I'd rather not take chances to be honest.

So please just make sure to mention you need help with the uncompletable quest.
