Does anyone else find grinding MGP insanely tedious?
The only real way to do it is via the Challenge Log, but even then all of the challenges are insanely tedious except for the Triple Triad and complete minigames challenges.

Chocobo racing is awful, winning 10 races is basically impossible if you don't sink time into breeding your Chocobo's, which I really do not want to do, ever.
Lord of Verminion is Lord of Verminion and even spamming the tutorial 5 times makes me want to eat paste instead because it'd be a more interesting experience.

No wonder people use bots for grinding MGP, it's so tedious it's unbelievable.

There are probably better minions for it but I spawn as many Wind-up Firions as possible and just sit them in the middle hitting the group attack when it comes up. Monster knocks them away once then he's alternating a melee swing or two and sitting in stunlock for just under 1:10 each round if he behaves and stays mid which is 95% of the time. It's super simple and a ton of MGP for no effort.

I do 1-2 at a time if I'm feeling really lazy.

Can also do Stage 3 with Kidragoras just bumrushing the crystals.

>C would break first, you then move the minions to B and it would break roughly at the same time as A.

I'm only up to 500k MGP, though I did buy the adamantoise a while ago for 250k, so maybe I just haven't been doing it long enough... but I think it's very easy and generous to just do those weekly challenges.

5 verminions for ALL THAT MGP??? Pshh no problem. And I've only beaten like the first 11 battles in it because I didn't even discover it until a few weeks ago, so there's plenty more to go before I just spam the easiest/fastest one.

I don't bother winning 10 chocobo races... that DOES seem a bit much. Just go for the 1 win and the what is it.. enter 3 races? I forget. The most annoying bit for me is the 10 triple triads. Idk why lol. It doesn't even take that long.

Then obviously GATES are the funnest part of it. I don't mess with mahjong, I don't do the triple triad battlehall. Get your 3 minicactpot cards. Fashion weekly, and big cactpot. No it's not that bad. Doesn't eat up much time, so it doesn't feel tedious to me. Maybe stop going for 10 choco wins per week and it will feel less tedious.

Holy shiz, that's a lot. Nice. I wonder when that's coming around again.

Fashion report, cuff-a-cur for both achievements, a few Triple Triad battles in the battle hall, five GATEs. That should get you a good amount of MGP.

the answer here is simple. EVERYTHING! is somehow tedious in MMO´s. its part of an MMO. it is aswell dumb to complain about grinding in an MMO. thats all i say to that >_>.

Difference being, like I've said probably a hundred thousand times is that most grinds in FFXIV are fun, or at least engaging. Relic Weapons require you to do lots of combat, which is engaging and more often than not, fun. Orbonne Monestary became my favourite raid because of the ShB relic.

There's less tedious mini-games for those challenges than Cuff-a-Cur, with Out on a Limb being the most profitable mini-game by far, you can get the 100 MGP needed for the challenge in a single run of it.

To be fair, getting 100mgp off the mini games is probably the least tedious thing ever. Takes like 3 minutes. I just choose whatever machine I find first as I don't have the layout memorized lol.

I'd like to also point out that the stuff are supposed to be not mid to long term goals. Not something you can bang out in a week/month.

It's not supposed to be something you no life to get all the stuff and if that is what you are doing then it isn't a problem with the system but with how you go about doing it.
