Register FF:ARR on square enix account?

I bought it through steam and registered through the in game menu when starting it up. but now i dont know how to get the game to my added games on my square account? the key steam gave me only worked for the in game.

You have to go Square Enix site then look for a sub site called "Mogstation". With your SE account you log in then there you have to register you key. This is also the place where you pay for any subcription fees thru steam.
