Passing Muster?

I have all level 8-11 gear, but it tells me i still need 5 or above. What do i do?

you need to make sure that both the ITEM lvl AND the REQUIRED level are both 5 or above. Some people have reported that equipping MORE than what's asked for can cause problems, so un-equip stuff like rings/necklaces/anything not mentioned in the quest description.
The collector's edition helmet as well as simmilar event-only items do not count towards the quest (i.e. the "thugs mug" which has a lvl req and ilvl of 10 doesn't count), if you're using something like this you need to find a replacement.

Same applies with heavy armor pants that combine shoes+pants. (or the higher lvl armor that combines top/pants/shoes)
