FINAL FANTASY XIV Online

I basically just skip the 'The Eyes Have It' Fate now.
That stupid Swing AOE spam is rediculous. Especially when latency is a concern, i still get insta killed even though on my screen i was safe. Its not so bad when i can inflict slow, but because of the diminishing return it loses its usefulness rather quickly. the 180 second cooldown on Elusive Jump is not cool either considering in that time the enemy would have spammed Sweep at least 15 times during cooldown.

Even though i was there at the beginning of the fate and contributed enough to get it to half health before the extra 15 people showed..... im rewarded with a bronze because no one revived me until the fate was over.

I havent tested it. But im sure if i just spammed Jump and Piercing Talon the whole time i would get gold for very little effort on my part.

Yes.... i got gold. And i just spammed Jump on the main boss when i had it and cleared the Adds. And i only killed like 4 of them.

The circular AOE need fixing on the the main though. Its either the 100 tonz or the 10 tonz but the AOE circle does not show up when its supposed to. If you are not a ranged fighter or Tank, dont focus on him or you will die and run the risk of not being revived, which in turn makes it so all your effort is wasted.

I skip almost all fates, they're boring and take way too long.

You could just get Stereo-boy's minions. And no, you don't need to kill him or do a lot of damage to get 'gold'. For example, I can get the max 30k in say 5-7 mins worth of whacking on him... Once I get that, I find another FATE and repeat.

Why do you think players tend to party up for FATEs? You just need to do ANY damage & be in combat status for a whole tick in a FATE to get the same completion exp as those that were there from start to finish. IF you're in the same PT.

PS KO'd? Revive unless your home point is out of zone. Why wait? It makes no difference in terms of XP. Be sure to join a PT, your PT members have a vested interest in reviving you... having you up and doing damage benefits the PT.
