If you like the extra? They don't give you advantages, just collector item.

Go with standard, most of the items are redundant later on even if they're just cosmetics, you'll be getting much better looking stuff.

Thanks guys.

I guess the main part I wanted to ask about was the mount. Are mounts easy enough to purchase in game?
Big Boom Boom Feb 25, 2014 @ 2:34am
Mounts are easy to get in game, however you can only acquire some type of mount (aesthetic difference only, they have same run speed) whereas certain others are only acquired through CE or numbers of days you subbed.

Only the Company Chocobo which you get in game can be summoned as a Companion.

Thanks BBB. It they're the same run speed and have different looks only I think I will just stick with the standard.

Cheers. :)

Have that unicorn from hell, if not wrong you get as loot on primals extreme, but is relly hard to get.

This was actually a quest reward for a quest removed before 1.0 ended, subscription time wasn't relevant.

You forgot nightmare, the black unicorn, it's available from extreme mode primals (only garuda is confirmed to drop it).

The helmet from the collector's edition gives a nice (albeit small) exp boost on any class you have below lvl 10, the rest of the stuff is purely aesthetic.
Since I didn't see it mentioned here: NO mount can be used until you earn the chocobo mount.

you get this mount from subscription

yeah the helm is pretty nice. It actually grants the bonus xp till level 11. The item should actually read 10 AND under if they wanted to be completely correct.

Handy if you're intent of leveling every class. It does actually put a noticable dent in the skill up time to 11 (I absolutely hate using leves on Trade classes before 11 since you're missing out on double xp/gil if you can't reliably HQ items)

-----------------

Behemoth is for buying like 270 days worth of game time...or something around there. And the free 30 days from buying the game don't count (especially annoying if you bought both PC and Console versions since you have 60 days of time that don't count towards any rewards).

not really imho
The Combat Medic Mar 9, 2014 @ 7:41am
the CE is just vanity stuff. Sure, the helm of light is cool, but it's a level 1 item and it only gives boosted EXP up to level 10.

The 30 free days only applies to new accounts, i.e. buying the ps3 version on an account that already has the pc version doesn't add 30 more days and vice-versa.

The behemoth is indeed for 270 days subscription.
