2015, can i rename my pet please?
Dearest Square enix company, its 2015 and my turret is nick named socks.. i would like to have the ability to rename him this, even if its a super long quest chain or something.. socks needs to be named and unique. maybe i can give him my FC logo?

If you hadn't said "FC" at the end, I would have assumed you meant to post this in another forum. What's this about a turret being named Socks? I don't know of anything in this game named Socks, least of all turrets. (Of which there are exactly two, Rook and Bishop)

Unless you mean your Chocobo, talk to the Chocobo Keeper about that.

Sounds like he wants to be able to rename the turrent to "socks."

Sounds like he wants to be able to rename the turrent to "socks."

Yeah, reading it now somehow everything he said makes perfect sense so apparently I'm the idiot here.

So, to answer the thread; currently, there's no way, and there probably won't be one in the future. Though, yeah, personalized turrets would be pretty tight.

It's why I asked about the year, he's making it sound like we've been waiting ages for a change to a class... that came out less than a month ago.

I guess that sounds reasonable. Still seems weird to me, didn't know it was a standard to give names to turrets.
