Never! I have 2-3 sets of glamours for my jobs and I shan't give them up!!!! xD
Oh yeah. I guess I didn't consider that, either. I have three to four sets for my jobs, but I really only play Summoner and Scholar frequently, so that's really only about six or seven sets for them and the rest of my plates are devoted to what I call "casual clothing" based on the real world season it is. XD
I play 3 jobs right now, majorly. DRK, WHM and BLM. I have moods for them. Sometimes I want my DRK to be a dark knight inspired by Cecil, other times a red-black theme etc etc. So I have tons of sets for them. I need help. lol
While I wouldn't turn down an upgrade to the space in the chest, 400 is a *lot*, and it's absolutely a self-created problem that would indeed be resolved by being (even a little tbh) pickier. I don't think 400 is an unreasonable limit; my need being bigger than that IS a bit silly.
I think another 100 or so would be NICE, but this is not where I would prioritize upgrades if upgrades to old stuff is going to be done.
With all of the jobs, it really started to show though. Especially since end-game people are almost entirely about fashion wars, so it becomes more and more important the longer you go on. Increasing glam chest to 600 at the very least would be great.
I MEANT 60.
The increase WOULD be great, I'm not going to argue with that. I just think the hardware resources (and dev/programmer time spent) are better aimed elsewhere right now, that's all. Want vs need. This is firmly a want.
Yes.
You remember how much struggle it was the first time we got an upgrade? Or how we only got an armory expansion by letting go of belts?
I won't pretend to know the details myself, but apparently we are taxing servers as is with the armory and glamour chest. The buzz term is "spaghetti code" but I don't know how true that is, or if it has something to do with PS4 limitation. Point is, it is apparently a lot more work than most of us give it credit for.
From what I can tell, it was an exploit that was patched very shortly after launch.
Anything in the armoire can be used towards plates without eating the glam dresser space. As long as you're editing plates, you have a toggle button at the bottom of the dresser window to swap glam/armoire.
