Demo asking for registration code.

I installed the demo from steam and ran it. I promptted me to make an SE account. I have done so. Then it asked for a registration key. I have no such key. I saw someone say that I should delete the folder in my games. It did not help.

just use this link to download demo client from official site :
https://freetrial.finalfantasyxiv.com/download/?platform=win&lng=en-gb&rgn=eu
then login to your acount with the SE demo client (the link)
after u log in and once it started downloading close the client and lunch the game from steam and your problem is solved !

After registration, and faced with the product key page, simply close the game and reboot. Then, login to you account and continue. smiley face

"This service account does not have a valid FINAL FANTASY XIV license for this platform or your subscription has expired.

Are you trying the trial or you bought the game?

Are you trying the trial or you bought the game?

The trial. I think my account is registered for the non-steam version somehow. just testing now.

you can check it on the mogstation just login there and it'll show on the first page

if your account is the regular one you need the site version of the game or use a custom launcher with the steam version or just use the launcher straight from the game folder
