Good game for couples?

Hubby and I are waiting for ArcheAge and Black Desert to lauch.

UNTIL THEN!
We are looking for an MMO to play together. Do you think this has a lot of cooperative play that we can do together? Can we furnish a house together (if we are in a free company together) or go fishing together?

Or are those all solo features?

There's both but a fair warning...until late game it's mostly 4 person party fights so don't double up on classes as this will work against you.

One character can lv any and every class in the game btw, (The selling point for FF MMOs.)

About the housing, currently you buy a house (small medium or large, price depends on legacy or not server.) and outside/inside you can put w/e housing objects you want and fung shway~ it however you want. I haven't flagged fishing but I assume you can. Houses are tied to your FC so only one per group atm. PErsonal room housing inside FCs buildings are coming soon.

I'd say yes, being just 2 people going through dungeons and stuff together in this game is quite the experience. But yea, fair warning when leveling up is that there's alot of solo-quest that can't be done in a party, even if you're the same class on the same quest. And you have to do them in your main scenario as well, because it's the only way you'll unlock dungeons and raids.

I played this with my wife since closed beta, and we've logged several thousand hours into it. She struggles a LOT at endgame because this game is hella difficult and demands perfection to run the newest content, but it's oh-so-satisfying when you finally beat that EX Primal or the latest turn in Coil. This is my favorite MMO of all time, and it's easily the best FF game in existence.

Oh, and a protip: If one of you is a tank, you'll have insta-queues all day for dungeons/primals.

The solo quests are very short, and are related to your class quest/story content. You'll just drop the group, do the 15-30 minute solo instance, then reform when you're done. It's not a biggie.
