FINAL FANTASY XIV Online

Are there buyable character boosts ?, (legal) not 3rd party scam sites.
As he title, with the new expansion out I was wondering if you can buy a boost token as you can for Wow. I love the game and its style but being an asian game I find it takes too long to level, Xp grind is horrible and taking longer than 3-5 days to max out a character isn`t my idea of fun compared to wow where I can do 1-100 in five days.

No there isnt . it also doesnt take longer than 5 days to get max level , easily doable in a couple of days.
1-60 takes maybe two or three days. If you find the grind too long, you're doing it wrong.

It took me a week to get my first job to 50, a Monk, no less, so I got those good long wait times. Also, I didn't know about the Challenge Log or Guildhests.

Getting a job from 50 to 60 (This time as White Mage) was finished the weekend HW was released.
No. If you visit the Official Website of FFXIV Forums, there was a Thread where everyone was Fully against Character Boosters. JP, NA and EU Fully reject for Character Boosters.

No, there are no instant boosts. The game is focused on the story anyways, and it gets a LOT better later on. Trust me, you'll enjoy the leveling your first time.

Thank you all for the replies, I tried leveling up a summoner one of the easier classes I was told but past lvl22 I was taking about 3-4 hrs per level running story missions, events along the way and side quests I found at the hubs. Guess for whatever reason the game and me just dont get along., But at 3-4hrs per level and say 25 levels to go with level inflation thats probably close to 150 hours to do 25 levels which I`ll never stand.

I do agree story wise, Visuals and sounds the game is far and away one of the best MMO`s to date. Just to add I dont have the game on steam as I bought the collectors edition of both FFXIV and FFXivRR on Dvd when they were released.

Ahh just bewarn do NOT buy anything from the Steam FFXIV store because both are seperated by products. you can add as a Nonsteam though. But as for lving do fates, dungeons, daily roulette, Leves, GC leves and everyones favorite Challenge Log. Oh and eat food for bonus exp. Once you have a lv50 character, lving sub class will receive Boost EXP bonus so it will be easy. Then also once you have a Lv60, lving 50 to 60 will also receive a exp bonus boost.

Levelling from 1-50 takes a day (max) if you grind it out and know how to level (FATES + dungeons by far, leves are useful pre 30 as well) each daily levelling roulette is basically 80% of a level pre 50 + whatever exp you get in said dungeon, meaning its really easy to grind.typically each levelling dungeon lasts 3 levels, usually each run of the dungeon gives 1 level until the 3rd level at which point it gives 60-70% of a level, the rest can be filled in with FATES.

Levels 1-30 can be done almost purely with the hunting log which takes like 10 minutes to fill out a whole page of ten entries at level 1-20. I did conjurer 4-35 in a day without even trying, (only spent around 6 hours levelling it and that's kind of slow) Although 2nd classes get double exp (until 50) from FATES and mobs.

That just seems like a huge exaggeration to me. Did you take into account queue times? The time it actually takes to complete a dungeon? The need to sleep? I will concede that one level in thirty minutes is plausible if you really bust your ass (And that speed drops considerably the higher your level gets) but there's only 24 hours in a day.

Yeah it is a bit of an exaggeration but it is doable. just not recommended tanks and healers don't really have to worry about queues for the most part. But yeah that would require like no sleep hence why I wouldn't recommend it. I personally couldn't deal with the lack of sleep but its certianly doable (I did do the 4-35 thing)
