Waiting in Queue, and AFKr's
Most of the time when I get on to play I have to wait in a queue, its not too bad I'd say generally anywhere between 30 secs to at most a minute or two. When I get into the game and go to any major city there are tons of AFK people, why isn't there a system implemented to auto-kick some of these people? Just thought i'd bring it up, let me know your thoughts.

There is. They enable it when it's congestion time (i.e. expansion release). They disable it when there is no queuing issues.

That isn't a queue. It's just the server processing logins and moving people between the instance server and world server. The servers are nowhere near full at the minute.

And if it did kick over to an actual queue (it's not), the login queue and the on-server queue are also two different things. The servers RARELY get full (like, release of new xpac frequency), but sometimes more people are trying to log in than can be processed right away.

Is does say "Queue" but it's sometimes 30 seconds, albeit can be longer.

Usually when there's less than 100 in queue it's not an actual queue, it's just alot of people logging in at the same time (or world transferring). It was confirmed in a live letter at some point. The server is not actually full.

lol srsly ... google endwalker launch waiting queues ... if you complain about 30 seconds up to a minute will the google results break you. because at EW launch waited peoples 2 hours to get in or EVEN LONGER and if stuff went bad got you a 2002 lobby error and needed to wait AGAIN.

we had on EU waiting queues of top 8000 peoples. on the US data centers was that even higher, the biggest number i´ve seen on a screenshot was nearly 21500 peoples in queue.

and btw, because of this (aka queues are not longer that big) removed they the autokick timer.

Hahahaha
I remember back in stormblood...

I logged in, started the queue...
Went with family to clean out stuff at grandpas....
Went out to eat at a japanese steakhouse...
Got home over 5 hours later to have been logged in to the game for 10 minutes.
There is.
It's not that long either. If they stay afk for long long times then they are using a plugin. Tough. Gonna have to deal with it. Move to a less populated server if you'd like.
Every time you see those same people afking for months and months in a row in the same exact spot, just know they are logged in 24/7 365 probably grooming people in their FCs.

No, there isn’t. The AFK kick timer was disabled months ago.
You'll still get randomly logged out feel free to waste 2 days afking to see when it randomly happens

That'll be down to a conection issue somewhere along the line.
And not the afk kick, which was turned back off when the expansion rush subsided.

Was playing once when I waited in a login queue through over 2000 players. They counted them down at 50 a shot for nearly an hour.

On Endwalker release, most servers had 3+ hour queues at peak times. Good times…
