For example;
SE Account 1: emailname@email
SE Account 2: Emailname@email
The same email address, but two different accounts registered to it.
So if I read your question correctly, you can make a new Square Enix account and then use the same email address for it as I describe above.
If you already have a Steam version Free Trial of this game, then you should be able to change the old account out, unsure if the Trial requires a link, if it does, you can get it removed by support, then add the new SE account to your Steam version Trial.
Or you could skip Steam and just make a new SE account on the Official site and buy the game from SE directly.
Note that, the Windows PC version and the Steam version of the game are not compatible with each other, accounts or software, its one or the other and DLC is the same.
