Holiday Sale?

I know this is a kinda silly question, but for those who have played 11 and 14, did they get any sale treatment for the holidays in the past?

I'm coming up on level 50 in the base game, and was trying to decide if I should hold out for a possible sale on Heavensward in the next couple months or just bite the bullet and pay for it. I know Square hates putting things on sale, but not sure if Steam has had better luck in the past.

I never see a holyday sale for FF 14. Maybe at mogrystation, but i don't think so.

Yeah, I'm finding about the same... so looks like I'm better off just buying it now.

even being level 50 in Realm Reborn it would be a while till you can get into heavensward content anyway, given you need to have completed the story up to patch 2.55 to be able to access heavensward.

if yor 50 and play daily.. yeah buy it, your in ishagard around 51 if your hard core storyy. i had RRB only a month of story play and i was 50 and heading to ishgard. sso yeah buy it. sale? its square enix baby. break on the orig RRB but thats old content. HW .. itll be next exspansion before this exspansion drops and by that time... well you get the idea.

Thanks guys, I bit the bullet and bought the expansion when I hit 50 last night, for no other reason than to not lose XP.

I really doubted that Square would do a sale on anything that's under two years old, but you never know :)

Realm Reborn has been on holday sale, HW probably will be too. I wouldn't expect 70% off or anything though.
