It was a class that was there from the beginning. Only Machnist, Astrologian and Darknight are in Heavensward.

PS The expansion raises the level cap from 50 to 60 though.

As already said. It's one of the jobs that came originally in ARR, NIN being added later on and Machinist, Dark Knight, and Astrologian being added with HW.
