2) It is not possible to ever sell the apartment, you can only leave I think, but it is possible to relocate like a house. If you relocate it may cost less money I believe. I don't know if it is true, as I haven't rented an apartments other then the Free Company apartments. Also like houses, it is not likely permanent, You have to visit it or after I believe 45 days they kick all our belongings out, and you have gather them up before they become perma gone.
3. To add walls, and such, you have to buy them, such as Partichians, and Extra Windows.
4. That depends on the Item. Certain Items such as certain Wallpapers, certain foods etc. are one time deals, so if you pick it it will be destroyed. Not many of them are like this but some are. Most will just either go into the room housing storage, or back to your inventory.
5. None that I know of, once you get apartment it should be open to you.
Is there any place to see what the different interiors look like so it helps me decide which apartment to buy?
The lobby of the apartment building will have a vendor who can sell the most basic of furnishings, including internals walls, floors etc.
Beyond that it's either craft them yourself or see if you can find some on the Marketboard at a price you like.
If you want to get a look at how things look, this site has been a solid go to for me :)

EDIT:
For additional inspiration, it can be a good idea to go looking through houses int he residential areas to see how people have decorated their houses.
You can usually also visit the FC rooms in a house which is quite good as the apartment is an identical space to the FC room.
The best place to see, is to go to the Resident Districts that you are interested in and look into a House or Apartment. There is always an Open door, and very simple rooms out there. While the wallpapers and floor will change, the Pillars, Supports, and Ceiling will never change,. It is also a good way to get inspiration of design the room.
Thanks checked each residential district and and went with lily hills, I managed to get apartment 15 in the 1st ward which was the only available apartment in there which is nice.
