Is the Free Trial worth it?

It's 100% free, until; you buy the game. You get base game and 2 expansions worth of content for free on the trial, but as soon as you buy the game you are obligated to subscribe.

It is %100 worth it. You even dont need to pay for monthly subscription with free trial.

Under the free trial, your communication is restricted, you cannot use the marketboards and must buy from npc vendors (can be expensive), cannot trade, cannot buy items from the cash/cosmetics shop (website), your jobs will cap at level 70, and story will cap at the end of the 3rd chunk of the game. Make sure to start your character on a new server, as you will get 1 million gil for free once you get a job to level 30 (Not sure if you miss out on that under the free trial though).

I would absolutely recommend the free trial, especially to people who've been playing for years and can see that it's no longer worth paying to play a game that's been going rapidly downhill since Dec 2021.

There is no reason not to at least try it, if you're on the fence. That's what the trial is for after all.

Just know it does have a few limitations that might make your experience less enjoyable than it otherwise could be. Such as restricted chat options, unable to make parties, Gil limit and many other limitations.

Basically you can play through all of A Realm Reborn, Heavensward and Stormblood. Your level cap does being limited to Level 70 but you can level up all of the jobs available to you up to level 70
So you are getting far more than 100 hours of content to go through

There are some limitations like your gil is capped at 300k, you cannot DM people in game and you cannot join into free companies (guilds) and neither invite people into your party (that one has a workaround though)

I would suggest milking out the free trial for all of it's worth before committing to the subscription as once you sub. you effectively forfeit the free trial.

Well you get to playthrough 60% of the current game including the horrible last 20 missions of the base game for free. And I played 300 hours of it,levelling and gearing all classes including crafters and gatherers, finishing all map quests and societies quests, getting enough manderville tokens for the most expensive airship mount and also the Firmament quests.

It's honestly very very generous in terms of content you get to play in an MMO. Gil limit wasn't that big of a deal, I'd just buy crafting mats from Societies merchants whenever I hit my limit. You can just save all coin type items to sell when you upgrade to full so that you can instantly hit 2.5 mil on full version.

The only 2 actual limiting factors are the fact that you can't join any Free Companies (player guilds) and no PVP. But you can get someone to invite you to a Link-Shell which is like a small group chat so you can still socialise.

It's free with 2 expansions. you're only restriction is that you can't shout, send tells, join a Free Company (Guild/Clan) or start your own group. You can still queue into dungeons and everything.

The only thing it costs is drive space and time.

You get the base game and 2 large expansions, you are restricted from trading, can't join a guild or start a group as well as private messaging, also can't buy a house, other then that you get the basically full experience.

I am level 68 so 2 levels from maxcap and i've gotten my times worth out of this for sure.

plenty of worth. You basically get almost limitless experience. The amount of content is more than many single player games have, and you dont have to pay anything until you're ready.
