Could be packet loss. You could open cmd and check the tracert to the ip of the the data center you regularly connect to and see, you can get that ip on arrstatus. Maybe you can try using a vpn? Vpns in general I use for privacy but they can bypass your isp's default routing and force your traffic through different routes, often with better connectivity to FFXIV’s data centers. I have on occasion used a vpn if I got any frequent disconnects in mmos. NordVPN, Proton VPN and ExpressVPN, etc. cost money but maybe cloudflare warp could help instead, its free at least. 90002 to me is a network issue, but maybe there could be indirect ways that corrupted files contribute to disconnects or timeouts, a reinstall could help who knows. Connecting through a vpn has usually solved my connection dropouts in mmos and that goes for the decade I've been playing this game.

90002 is a client side disconnect and therefore on your end.
90006 is aswell client side.
so, if you get one of both is it guaranteed YOUR internet, not the SE servers.
all the error codes got listed backthen where endwalker launched.
90002 and 90006 are both listed as client side disconnect.

Pretty sure this issue is with your ISP. I'm not a network guy, but I think there is a port that your ISP has blocked that the FFXIV update client uses. I had this problem and tried looking it up and did not have much success. I remember reading that you could call the ISP to have them unblock it, but I didn't have the technical knowledge to explain that to them. I did find 2 work-arounds, though.

1) use a VPN

2) I use my phone as a wifi hotspot and use that to update.

My ISP seems to have fixed it on their own at some point recently, but they have been doing a lot of expanding and who knows what went on behind the scenes there. I don't know what happened, but maybe yours will catch up too, if that's what is going on.

EDIT: No reinstalling or any setting tweaks or anything worked for me. I had to use a completely different internet (so, so much slower) to update. Game played fine, though. Just updating was a problem. If you can get it updated, you can at least play it on your regular internet connection.. Or I was able to, anyway.
