FINAL FANTASY XIV Online

I just got off of work and logged in to find only 34 players in the queue?
I guess everyone finished the MSQ.

COol story, 3k here. Literally just now. So nope.

It's getting shut down in 2 hours.

But queues have been getting smaller.

Not on the Coeurl world that I play on unless it was a bug that worked out in my favor and put me at the front of the queue.

I'm on the server most of the streamers flooded. So kind of just boned on my end.

I hate to say it might only get worse for you after maintenance, because you know all of the streamers will be wanting to run the first tier of the Pandaemonium raids as soon as it drops.

Omega has eased up considerably too, not getting queues any bigger than 1,600, but tends to typically be around the 600-800 mark more often than not.

I think it really depends on what world you're on. Some are more populated than others. Only 25 in Crystal/Zalera for me, but I guess the fact it will shut down in like 30 minutes has something to do with it.

Didn't play today, I was just curious after seeing this thread :)

Wait, people pay money for an xpac and a sub just for a few days of story content then unsub and stop playing? Like, REALLY? Nothing else about this MMORPG is exciting for them?

Yep you should try it some time and maybe you wouldn't have a troll's Steam level of ZERO

Crazy how the player numbers haven't changed since a few days after release yet the apologists are reporting that they don't have queues at peak times any more... I really don't understand why the Yoshi-P fanclub feels the need to lie on SqEnix's behalf.

No queues yet character creation is disabled on your server. Hmm...

It's still 3k+ on Twintania, which is one of the lowest pop servers by a mile.

Nobody is saying no queues, they're saying the queues have decreased, big difference there. Also, bear in mind, not every one logs in during the peak hours, for example, I effectively can't do so due to time zone differences, when I log on in the morning, it is night by the server's local time and vice versa, meaning I'm basically asleep when the peak queues kick in.

As an example of how much the queues have decreased for me, last week I was getting between 4,500-6,000+ long queues, now I'm only getting around 1,600 at most. Although I suspect after maintenance, the numbers might climb a bit due to Pandaemonium.

They haven't though.

There was a fall off after the first week and then nothing has really changed. Queues are still 3k+ on my server at peak times. If anyone got on late tonight and didn't have a queue it's because people weren't willing to sit in one when the game was about to go down for maintenance, so they didn't bother playing.

It will be worse again, if anything, tomorrow when the raid comes out. There's no point pretending.

The numbers should go up because of raid and holidays. And then back down in Jan. But ultimately we just need to wait for more server capacity to really deal with the queues. I'm really curious what the roadmap will be if they have that ready in Jan.

I'm also curious how the oceanic server affects numbers.
