A serious question about New Game Plus
I need to work this very particularly, what is the harm to my or anyone else's experience with the game in giving me EXP for engaging on New Game Plus? Now items and gil I understand I am not arguing for those but if I get EXP then I could you know, have my class level through New Game Plus the same way it would when playing the story.

I mean I 100% story skipped but want to go back and play the stories again but it feels underwhelming with a level 100 character but I can't keep any class I have at pace for the story without doing dungeons or farming on the side. It would greatly improve the New Game Plus experience for me personalty if I got EXP to keep my class in line with the content.

Considering the wealth of options that already exist for fast solo leveling, personally, I don't see any reason that NG+ quests couldn't provide roughly the same experience rewards (and nothing else) as a typical piss-easy sidequest in the open-world zones. Nobody would use it strictly for leveling purposes since there are far more efficient options for any type of player and the people that do want to do nostalgia-runs through NG+ wouldn't be completely wasting their progression-time.

I'm guessing it's probably a feature with low participation rates so SE doesn't see much reason to bother with an overhaul. Or balance for potentially exploit-y quests that can be completed in a minute or two. Or anything else that might require a fair bit of effort for minimal benefit.

But I agree. It would be nice.

If you wanna level along with ng+ msq then either your level is gonna help you pace yourself or you might be better off playing on an alt, maybe have friends help trade to it however needed.

I assume the whole reason they do it is so that nobody gains the idea to start grinding exp by just doing NG+ MSQ, which would discourage people from running duties.

Oh yeah, sure would be a shame to thin the herd of people doing roulette as DPS when it has a 20 to 30 minute wait time.

What Datacenter are you playing on that has that long of a queue time? Leveling Roulette for DPS has like a sub-10 minute wait for me on Aether.
