I absolutely would. I don't have a problem generally with anti-cheat software, but riots anti-cheat is literally malware.

In my humble opinion, it's not really a matter of how much or how little of a cheat Pixel Perfect is. Sure, it's less offensive than Cactbot, but it's also not exactly playing vanilla... hence the controversy, outrage, discourse, whatev.

I just think it's sad that SE is proven right once again in their intent to stay away from the WF race due to, in no uncertain terms, the use of plogon.

Agreed with that. Especially in the context of a community competition with presumed fair sportsmanship (Echo rented out a whole venue!), I didn't think the punishment went far enough for GRIND, frankly.

But I know some people have different barometers... sometimes out of their own self preservation. "Pixel Perfect can't be that bad, because I use it too" type beat.

Still, I think fighting over what team in the community competition won, didn't win, deserves the win, doesn't deserve the win, hardly matters. Every Ultimate release is a chance for the community to convince SE/Yoshi P that they should participate in WF again and, more relevantly, continue to support ultimate content, as per his interview where he mused what the point even was creating content for 5% of people, when 3% cheat anyway.

And in that regard, we all lost. Again.

You realize people can program their own mods or edit existing mods to give themselves advantages no other raiding group can have? Hell did you see the speed runner drama? (See video). They had to have been botting. FFXIV was not designed to require tools to assist you in completing content so if you are doing speed runs or competing in world firsts it should be tool free because the ability to cheat can far exceed what you can imagine.
