Question on ultimates:
Are phases consecutive, or can you taje breaks in between each of them?

Looking to do Omega Protocol to get my clockwork weapons.

However, adding to that; you are here to clear, you are not here to parse, that comes after you have some clears under your belt. Play safe and don't greed if you don't have to. (I.E your group is already comfortably killing a phase, don't try to get .1% dps gain by doing something risky.)

Finally: Pace yourself. It will be hard, it will be brutal. You will have days where you spend hours in PF only to wipe to the first mechanic for a whole instance. Give yourself time to breath and go about your days as normal. I no-lifed DSR and it sucked.
I've rarely gotten the chance to deal with any high end content, let alone ultimates, but I can imagine that the worst thing you can do with ultimates is doing ultimates with the expectation to beat them rather than slowly pushing further and further.

Indeed, they're not a sprint, they're a marathon. The longest an Ult has taken for me has been around 1.5 months or so, though it must be said that a good part of that was me making the connections in my first one (as well as other content) and having people who've done it willing to help out.

Adopting a marathon mindset is much, much healthier for Ult raiding, compared to Savage where there is a drive to clear each week for the loot lockout.

99.9% of people don't have the time or the patience to dedicate that much time towards banging their head against a wall to power through something. IMO, whether they admit it or not, most of the players clearing ultimates are using tools that break the ToS, because they're not looking to bang their head against a wall for 45 days just to clear something.

You might have to beg for a carry while playing a DPS. Because even if you use tools to break the TOS, a win isn't guaranteed - full group of cheaters can still wipe.

I think the most I will ever do is Savage, I don't have the time to search for parties sitting there for 2 hrs, that I can spend gathering and crafting.

Getting a static will eliminate wait time.

But to be fair, you can still gather and craft while waiting in a party finder so I'm not too sure why you're saying that.

TOP isn't really a carryable fight, that's why I went so in depth, cause no matter what they gotta know everything about it.

True, I just said that finding a static for TOP as first ult would be very difficult - I had trouble building one for TOP on my own with four legend titles under my belt.
