Story Dungeon/ Raids with NPC ?
Hello...i am an old Player and i know that they Build in this NPC Feature for Dungeons.. But as i have last logged in and played it was not for all the Story Content...all Primae Fights / all the bigger Storydungeons and so on was not in and you need a full Raid.
I think that is already a thing because of the size / needed players?

In the later Game there are nearly no normal Dungeons for the Story, only these Big Raids..and so i have every time cancel the Game because of these Need all time to get further in the Story a full Raid :(

I like Group Content, thats not the Thing, and yeah it is an MMO...but when i playing in the night and will only play in complete Lazybones Speed my Mainstory but all 5 quests or so i need 14 other players what causes hours of wait and then all are running fast through the raids and i dont understand much i feel...terrible :/ I will make Group Content when i chose now im feeling in Mood and will Play with others...not when i only want story

So the question is...is it now possible to make the Mainstory without the all time pressure?

8 man trials, except for last 2 addons, require matching, as do three 24 man alliance raids that are mandatory inbetween ARR and Heavensward

All MSQ (and most optional) dungeons are now duty-supported

Only Realm Reborn has "special" rules, after it no raid content is mandatory

Mhh? Im not sure where in the Story i was but i thought it was Heaveansward or the later expansions...the Realm Reborn itself i was over....and i have one Primae Fight to do in the Main story after another...
And then big Raids and so on. Maybe i dont understand you right or they have changed things in Game? When you say there arent any raid content as a must do for the main story?

There are 3 24 mans that you do post ARR pre HW. That's the only REQUIRED raid content, and it can be done with Duty Finder.

There are many 8 man trials from ARR -> post-Endwalker that cannot be done with NPCs. They are working on changing this specifically, but we have no ETA and if it continues as it started, we won't see all of the updates for them for a few years. They can all be done with DutyFinder.

In Dawntrail, everything but the last fight (including the 8 man content) can be done with NPCs; the last fight must be done with other players (and can be done with Duty Finder).

None of the content you are required to do with other players is hard. At all. Everyone expects sprouts to need help; if you tell folks it's your first time in a dungeon, they will generally assist you. If you're really worried, ask the party if somebody could put a 'danger dorito' on, and it's entirely likely somebody will put it on their head for you to follow.

The amount of content that's with other players vs with NPCs, there's a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT more now that's with NPCs, and raiding here is NOT like it is in WoW I promise. It's just a big dungeon. Exactly like a big dungeon. Ain't nobody yelling about DKP, I promise.

If you are successful at clearing *any content at all* with NPCs, you will be successful at clearing the Crystal Tower raid series with players with no difficulty. Seriously. If you beat the Ultima Weapon (and you WILL beat Ultima, it's not too hard or anything), I pinky swear you'll be fine for the raid. Ultima with NPCs is harder than Crystal Tower with players (and neither of them are hard!!!).

There is one mandatory set of 24-man raids due to it tying into the story later. They're very easy though.
