You'll need to buy the expansion to get access to the last 3 expansions.
and the base version.
With restrictions
From the games official website which should have been your first stop for information on the game before starting another pointless thread to bloat the already bloated Steam forums:
...damn, I gave him a "here's what you need to know"
Well played sir, well played...
I asked here because after doing my own research I was getting multiple different and conflicting answers, some of which you can see in this discussion. Not only that but the official website and the official steam store page conflict with each other which added to the confusion. I appreciate the information you provided but the attitude is unwarranted.
The only difference is the Steam page doesn't break down the individual features you are restricted from. Sounds like the conflicting answers you were getting were from the very same type of randos you came here seeking answers from.
This is what the steam store page says for me. I'm not sure why we're both seeing different orange disclaimer box messages. What I see does conflict with that you see and what the website says
Its cause you are looking at the base game purchase and not the free trial,if you click on learn more about in the green box for the free trial it pops up with the free trial details
What is often forgotten is that having information isn't comprehending the information. As a teacher you learn it's almost impossible to present information in a way everyone will be able to digest it.
Eventually I just learned to expect someone was going to miss a point staring them right in their face.
