if you do not see Dawntrail with a checkmark on Mogstation but it will not allow you to add the key because somebody already used it, contact support
there's no work arounds or fixes for this that players have the capacity to help you with, you need to contact support
This usually works for people who logged out in a Dawntrail area prior to Early Access finishing, locking the character from use until the registration code has been activated.
It sounds like you registered the CD key, but the game is slow to update the status.
Turn off OneDrive it is probably messing with the update folder as it manages the Documents > My Games.
